Stefania Saccardi continua: "Registriamo una diminuzione del 4% della spesa farmaceutica, una riduzione importante che riporta vicino ai limiti imposti dalla legge la spesa farmaceutica ospedaliera mentre molto al di sotto dei limiti quella farmaceutica territoriale. Il tutto senza negare niente a nessuno ma lavorando sull'appropriatezza. Le azioni messe in campo sono state positive e ci consentiranno di risparmiare risorse non finalizzate al risparmio puro ma da reinvestire in farmaci innovativi e nell'ampliamento della platea delle persone che potremo curare per raggiungere obiettivi importanti come l'eradicazione dell'epatie C. La spesa farmaceutica nella nostra regione – (\*) - è stata sempre un puntino rosso nei bersagli che anche il Mes Sant'Anna ha valutato ultimamente. Basta dire che nel network la Toscana è ai vertici per quasi tutti gli indicatori, 4 solamente non sono buoni e due sono riferiti proprio alla spesa farmaceutica. Oggi verifichiamo che le azioni che da tempo abbiamo messo insieme con i professionisti, la Commissione terapeutica e i soggetti che della spesa si occupano costantemente hanno già portato a un sensibile miglioramento. L'obiettivo adesso è di riportare la spesa ospedaliera e convenzionata nei limiti previsti dalla legge entro il 2019 e quindi modificare quegli indicatori rossi delle valutazioni del Mes in obiettivi verdi" External link
